Description:
Cam2Rec is a suite of colour space transformation LUTs that was purpose-built for Final Cut Pro, but you can use them in every other software, too.
Please check the product images for a list of currently supported cameras and gamma and gamut combinations.
The colour space transformations are based on the mathematically correct colour space transformation as specified by the camera manufacturer. However, since the LUTs are built for Final Cut Pro, they have a few tweaks to make them work as seamlessly as possible—for example, handling out-of-gamut colours. The colour science is robust, and if you use the LUTs in the correct place of your signal chain, they will bring you a long way.
If a particular gamma and gamma combination is missing, please use the form below, and I will likely include it in the next update. We will build a one-stop colour space transformation solution for Final Cut Pro.
